Network and connections
Starting from the technical specifications for reception, the Motorola RAZR2 V9 proves to be decidedly high quality. It is in fact a GSM Quadband device, which guarantees optimal reception all over the world. Furthermore, it has the ability to work in Dual Mode, also making use of UMTS support. As for wireless, it is equipped with Bluetooth, but not with Wi-Fi support. However, it is possible to connect with other devices via the USB 2.0 cable. Browsing the Web is easy and fast, with HSDPA technology for data traffic, along with the built-in modem.

Design and equipment
The look of the RAZR2 V9 draws heavily on other Motorola models. It in fact features the classic clamshell opening, sturdy and at the same time lightweight thanks to the internal frame made of stainless steel. The weight is thus kept to just 125 grams, with a maximum thickness of 11.9 mm. This model features 2 LCD screens, with the same 262,000-color display at a resolution of 320x240 pixels, with the outer one featuring Touch Screen technology. It's important to point out that the materials were studied in the lab to give the device great resistance, especially in the hinge area, built in die-cast aluminum.

Main features
The telephone side is quite complete, with built-in speakerphone, support for multi-conferencing and voice recording. Thanks to the Crystal Talk function, it is possible to clean the sound from any external noise, thus ensuring excellent voice quality. There are also utilities for managing commitments, such as a synchronized agenda and calendar, as well as alarm clock, calculator, and currency converter. There is also support for common SMS and multimedia messages, as well as for sending and receiving E-mail. The operating system, although proprietary, allows for good customization of the device, thanks to Java support for installing compatible applications.

Entertainment and multimedia
For entertainment, the RAZR2 V9 is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera that, thanks to up to 8X Zoom and a built-in Flash device, makes it possible to get photos and videos of good quality. The memory available in the standard package is only 45 MB, but it can be expanded as desired with a microSD card. As for audio, it is possible to use the multiformat Windows Media Player 11 player, to listen to your favorite music at any time. The included 770 mAh battery guarantees a battery life of up to about 280 hours in Stand-by.
