Aesthetically the phone has a clamshell design, whose mechanism is solid and sturdy, the body is dark in color with silver-colored inserts, the internal color display (65,536 colors) TFT has a resolution of 176x220 pixels, while the external 2-line STN display has a resolution of 80x48 pixels and shows some important information such as network coverage, battery charge level, date and time, operator, and volume adjustment. On the left side there is a "jog roll" useful for volume adjustment and at the same time allows you to interrupt the ringtone of an incoming call.

It is a Tri Band phone with Microsoft Smartphone 2002 operating system and PDA functionalities, equipped with Gprs technology, integrated hands-free, Mini USB connectivity and an infrared port for wireless data transmission. The built-in internal memory of 32 Mb ROM and 32 MB SDRAM can be expanded up to 1 Gb with MiniSD. In addition, there are MMS messaging functions for sending images and photos with text and audio, instant messaging (MSN Messenger), integrated vibracall and stereo headset output. The Software included in the product Pocket Internet Explorer is substantial and includes Microsoft Messenger, Windows Media Player, Pocket Contacts, Pocket Calendar, E-mail Support and T9 handwriting recognition system in Italian.
