Mobiado is a phone brand that is not very widespread on the market, not because of the level of quality offered on a technical level, which is actually always cutting-edge. Rather, the limited production run is due to the extremely high price caused by the fine materials used in its construction. Let's now look in detail at this model, which maintains the same characteristics as the series, with changes only on an aesthetic level. It is therefore equipped with a GSM Quadband receiver, which guarantees excellent coverage thanks also to WCDMA support in Dual Mode. The internal modem with GPRS data traffic management allows browsing the Internet through the dedicated HTML browser. Bluetooth is handy for exchanging files with compatible devices. There are also an IrDA port and a USB cable output.
Design and features
Mobiado stands out for the fine materials used in its construction. The Candybar body is in fact made of platinum-plated nickel and aluminum. The 320x240 pixel screen displays up to 16 million colors. It is protected by a sapphire glass resistant to scratches and scuffs. Just below is the standard alphanumeric keypad, with minimalist, well-separated keys. The finishes are in 24-carat gold and sapphire crystals are used for the monograms present on the surface which, unlike the CLB model, remain limited on the Professional for a cleaner, smoother look. The color is dark red. In short, a true concentration of luxury intended for few pockets.
Main features
The functional equipment of the Mobiado Professional 105 EM Red does not offer anything exciting, aligning itself with most of the more commercial devices. Contact list, appointment organizer, alarm clock, calculator and stopwatch are the classic management tools. Java support allows small utilities to be installed, in order to better personalize one's device. Support for predictive text allows quick composition of SMS, MMS and E-mail. As for purely telephone functions, there is a speakerphone, a voice recorder and support for multi-conferencing.
Entertainment and multimedia
The owner of such a device is perhaps not looking so much for advanced functionality as for quality and exclusivity in the aesthetic appearance of the phone. Nevertheless, the multimedia offering of this Mobiado is complete, with a 2 megapixel camera that allows images to be captured when needed. It comes with digital zoom and autofocus and can also record short videos. The available storage space can be expanded via microSD cards. This way you can always have your favorite music with you, to play through the dedicated media player. There is also an antenna for receiving AM/FM radio broadcasts. Battery life is good, offering operation of up to 300 hours in Stand-by.
