Network and connections
This Smartphone designed for the corporate user offers high levels of connectivity. Quadband GSM support guarantees optimal coverage in every situation, in addition to UMTS technology. For data traffic, a GPRS receiver is provided, but also the fast HSDPA to display Web pages at their best at 1.5 Mbps. Furthermore, it is possible to exchange files with other devices through Bluetooth, or sync to a PC via a USB 2.0 cable. With the IrDa port you can, for example, print photos by sending them directly to a compatible printer. To complete the network profile, Wi-Fi support for using corporate networks is certainly not missing.
Design and features
At first glance it appears to be a phone with a monoblock body, in which the large 2.8-inch TFT display with 65 thousand colors immediately stands out. The technology is Touch Screen, so as to easily manage the device by sliding on the screen. However, by sliding the cover, a QWERTY keyboard is revealed, for comfortable writing. On the front, however, the function keys remain, in addition to the multidirectional joystick for quick movement on the display. The body has a thickness of 15.5 mm, making it fairly compact, together with a weight of 152 grams. The sales package includes a case in leather and fabric, a USB cable, a video cable, and also a headset.
Main features
The i-Mate Ultimate 6150 offers complete management features, from the calendar, to the agenda, or even the advanced address book and E-mail management. In terms of telephony, it allows you to make video conferences, thanks to the front camera, or calls to multiple users. The Windows Mobile 6 Professional platform, together with the 520 MHz Intel processor, allows for great potential and customization. The Office package also allows you to manage any document, or even project presentations directly onto a screen through the XGA Direct video output. Also interesting is the function to disable radio emission, so you can work peacefully even during an airplane flight.
Entertainment and multimedia
The multimedia features are also noteworthy, to complete the offering of the Ultimate 6150. A 2 megapixel rear camera allows you to take plenty of photos, with Zoom and Flash integrated with the autofocus function. The 256 MB internal memory is expandable thanks to microSD cards, so as to keep your favorite music and movies close at hand. The Windows Media Player allows you to play many multimedia formats, in addition to AM/FM radio stations. Portability is guaranteed by a 1530 mAh lithium battery, for a battery life of up to 150 hours in Stand-by.
