Casio IT500 review
The new IT-500 offers an excellent basis for demanding sector-specific solutions. The flat MDE terminal with Intel XScale processor and Windows-CE.NET 4.1 operating system is particularly interesting thanks to its practical integrable standards for data collection and communication, as well as its excellent large-surface transflective SuperColor display specially developed by Casio for mobile use, which delivers extremely contrast-rich images with excellent color fidelity even in direct sunlight. With the integrated laser scanner, included as standard, all the most commonly used barcodes can be easily read. A model variant makes it possible to easily and quickly take pictures using an integrated digital camera. Worldwide Voice-Over-IP telephony over Wi-LAN networks is available with the model equipped with an integrated mobile radio module. Transflective TFT touchscreen, 65,535 colors (Casio Super LCD) and 240 x 320 pixel resolution. Notes on Features: Integrated digital camera (optional). Bluetooth Ver. 1.1 (optional). WLAN IEEE 802.11B (optional), VoIP (possible). Depending on the model, IT-500 also supports traditional data communication standards, such as IrDA, Bluetooth and Wireless-LAN in compliance with IEEE 802.11b. IT-500 is particularly suitable for field service organizations, logistics operations, and for versatile internal applications in the commercial, industrial, and service sectors.
