The Traffic Assist 7928 is equipped with a feature of great help to drivers, namely the lane assistant which indicates in good time which lane to choose in order to follow the correct direction, and proves extremely valuable especially in big cities and on all multi-lane roads. As for navigation more directly, the software is intuitive and practical, and the cartography is rich and detailed, with maps of 37 European countries already preloaded on the 2 GB SD card and more than a million points of interest stored in memory, of which about three hundred are displayed in 3D. Route calculation can be carried out by entering the destination address, geographic coordinates, or simply by clicking on one of the displayed points of interest. The system has a TMC-RDS receiver with an antenna integrated into the smart cradle, which, through real-time updated traffic information, automatically recalculates the best route to avoid queues and traffic jams.

There are many multimedia and navigation functions accessible on the Traffic Assist 7928, such as the playback of mp3 files, video (with automatic start and advanced audio quality) and images. Through Bluetooth technology it can be connected to your mobile phone to conveniently make and receive phone calls while traveling. The integrated wireless FM modulator allows you to listen to both music and phone calls, or navigation instructions through your car's speakers.
