AvMap Geosat2C review

Geosat2C (Compact) is a portable satellite navigator that gives you the ability to know your position with precision and to choose the best route to your destination: the perfect travel companion. The large size of the 5.6-inch LCD TFT display allows you to identify your destination and the directions to follow with immediacy. The window-based structure allows you to move easily from one menu to another, making the unit extremely easy to use. Geosat navigators are extremely fast in route calculation and in eventual recalculation (thanks to the advanced electronic cartography navigation technology developed by C-MAP). The sensitivity of the GPS receiver allows Geosat2C to work without problems even in the most difficult environmental conditions. The Geosat2C cartography contains a series of highly useful pieces of information such as the location of fuel stations, railway stations, post offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, parking lots and many others. Display: ultra bright 5-inch color LCD TFT with 320x240 pixel resolution with a brightness sensor for automatic display adjustment, visible even in backlight conditions. Thanks to the advanced electronic cartography navigation technology, Geosat2C is extremely fast in navigation functions: Geosat2C manages to zoom and scroll on the map in the blink of an eye; even the most complex routes are calculated quickly without slowing down your departure (in about 4 seconds). The 256 MB Secure Digital card comes preloaded with national cartography. Geosat2C combines in itself the most advanced features of satellite positioning technology and of a digital reader of all road maps.
