ASUS MyPal A716 review
MyPal A716 integrates both Wi-Fi 802.11b technology and Bluetooth, ensuring easy and fast wireless connections. With MyPal A716 it is possible to have the handheld communicate with various devices, stay connected to the network while moving around within one's company, office or home, and connect to the Internet easily even while traveling. ASUS MyPal A716 also guarantees extensive expansion possibilities thanks to the presence of two slots capable of accommodating a CompactFlash (CF) type II card and a Secure Digital (SD) card, allowing large amounts of data to be stored and transferred on the preferred type of memory card. The presence of two different slots also makes it possible to take advantage of the various add-ons and accessories available on the market in both CF and SD formats, useful for turning the PDA into a GPS satellite navigator, GPRS phone, digital camera, MP3 player and FM radio.
MyPal A716 proves to be efficient and reliable thanks to the powerful Intel PXA255 processor at 400 MHz, the 3.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels of the 'trans-reflective' type with a high degree of brightness, and 64 MB of Flash ROM memory and 64 MB SDRAM. Aesthetically it looks particularly refined and well-crafted, also thanks to its extraordinary compactness and a weight of just 197 grams. The four handy buttons for immediate access to the most frequently used functions, together with the convenient central control and the two side 'up' and 'down' buttons, allow easy and comfortable one-handed use even while on the move.
