ASUS M930 review
Network and connections
Asus M930 is a Smartphone with strong Business qualities and characteristics. The network support guarantees excellent coverage in full mobility, thanks to the GSM Triband receiver on 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz frequencies, as well as UMTS network. The integrated modem allows you to go on the internet through the WAP browser, while HSDPA support at 3.6 Mbps allows for high-speed data transfer. As for wireless, the M930 is equipped with Wi-Fi to connect to corporate networks, as well as Bluetooth or USB 2.0 to exchange files with other devices.
Design and features
At first glance this Asus appears to be a classic Candybar with a 2-inch screen and 240x320 pixel resolution. Lifting the front part, however, reveals a second screen of a full 2.6 inches with 65K colors, with a corresponding extended QWERTY keyboard, convenient for easily composing documents and text messages. For a flip-open phone, the dimensions are rather compact: 18.7 mm thick and 158 grams in weight. The 1100 mAh battery allows for an autonomy of about 200 hours in Stand-by, to provide peace of mind even during long business trips.
Main features
The M930 is based on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Standard platform. Thanks to the Texas Instruments processor at 450 MHz and 64 MB of RAM, this phone becomes a formidable tool for always having the office in your pocket. Installing programs, utilities and high customization expand the base functions, already excellent and complete in the standard configuration. Speakerphone, voice calling and voice recorder, advanced phonebook, video conferencing and E-mail services are just some of the main features. Also very interesting is the Airplane mode, to deactivate radio reception and continue working without causing interference.
Entertainment and multimedia
Despite its clear Business imprint, the Asus M930 also proves to be a valid multimedia device. The 2 megapixel camera allows you to take quality photos, storing them on the 256MB internal memory, also expandable with microSD cards. The small 0.3 megapixel front camera is instead used for video calls. There is also a multimedia player
