Alcatel One Touch V770 review

Network and connections
As an Entry Level category cell phone, this Alcatel One Touch V770 proves more than sufficient in terms of network support. The GSM Triband receiver indeed guarantees good signal coverage, along with the GPRS connection for data transfer. Connectivity with other devices is instead guaranteed by the USB 2.0 cable. Furthermore, as far as wireless is concerned, it features Bluetooth support, handy and fast for exchanging files with friends.

Design and features
Slim design with a thickness of just 10 mm, comfortable even in your pocket and absolutely practical. For a minimal phone like the V770, the weight has also been kept down: 75 grams, including the 750 mAh battery that guarantees a duration of 400 hours in Stand-by. There's a choice between two trendy colors: glossy white and soft-touch black. The keyboard is quite wide, with comfortable and functional keys, equipped with backlighting. The 1.9 inch screen placed above it is sharp and vivid, with its 256K colors.

Main features
Alcatel always offers fairly complete phones for the mid-low segment. That's why the V770 is also equipped with an organizer, phone book, multiconference support and built-in speakerphone. Furthermore, the Java platform allows you to install compatible games and small applications. Also handy is the ability to connect the phone to the computer and use it as a webcam for instant messaging programs. Or again, the Wap browser to browse Internet pages.

Entertainment and multimedia
The Alcatel One Touch V770 is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4X zoom, which manages to take good photos despite the absence of Flash. The internal memory is only 10 MB, but it can be expanded thanks to microSD type cards, so you can easily store photos, videos and music files. This phone is also equipped with a multimedia player, so you can always have your favorite music with you.
