Alcatel One Touch S621 review

Network and connections
The S621 is the ideal phone for those who want practicality and functionality, without spending too much money. An excellent companion in everyday life, with a Dualband GSM receiver that guarantees good network coverage. It is also equipped with GPRS support, allowing fast packet data transfer. Wireless connectivity is not lacking either, with Bluetooth for exchanging files with other devices, or the USB 2.0 cable for interacting with the home computer.

Design and features
Alcatel OT S621 is a concentration of design, striking the eye right from the start. Chrome-plated surfaces frame the mirrored front, with a keypad of essential shapes. The back cover, on the other hand, is made of rubberized material, to allow a more secure and soft grip. The dimensions are really compact, 11 mm thick and only 69 grams in weight. The screen is good, 1.8 inches with 65,000 colors. In addition, the phone is equipped with a battery that lasts up to 400 hours in Standby.

Main features
Even though the platform is the manufacturer's own, Java support allows small applications and games to be installed, expanding the functionality of this Alcatel. WAP support allows browsing Web pages directly from the phone and always having updated news at hand.
With the S621 it is possible to send and receive E-mail, or write SMS and MMS with T9 predictive text.

Entertainment and multimedia
This phone with simple features has been designed as an excellent tool for personal entertainment. The multiformat player allows listening to up to 25 hours of music, always having your favorite tracks at hand. The standard memory is only 10MB, but it can easily be increased with a microSD card up to 2GB. In addition, the 1.3 megapixel camera on the back captures photos and videos of good quality, although there is no Flash.
