Alcatel One Touch 756 review

An excellent phone for ringtone lovers, the One Touch 756 includes a collection of 20-second MP3 melodies. Thanks to the included PC software package, you can also turn your favorite digital melodies into MP3 ringtones and share them with other cell phones via multimedia messages or infrared port. It also lets you assign them to phone power on or power off, as well as to alarms, reminders, or incoming messages. It is a TriBand Gsm phone, equipped with a high-quality TFT display with 262K colors, 12 lines and 128 x 160 pixel resolution with a 33 x 41 mm display area, Gprs technology, multi-field phonebook, calendar, to-do list, Vcard and Vcalendar transmission, PC synchronization with Outlook Express, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes, Lotus Organizer.

It records 30-second movies with sound thanks to the built-in VGA camera, shares video clips instantly via MMS or infrared port with just two clicks, and lets you associate a video with phonebook contacts to see who's calling before answering. You can also set video clips as the stand-by display, use the PC package to transfer clips to your PC and edit them, or trim and modify sequences, adding sound effects such as soundtracks or comments.

It features functions such as voice command, voice memo, voice recognition, calculator, converter, clock with time zones, polyphonic ringtones (32 tones, 128 instruments and 47 percussion sounds), games, built-in applications, and thanks to Java MIDP 2.0 technology, it allows you to download games and applications.
