Alcatel ELLE No 3 review
Cute, appealing and technological. Three traits that suit this little gem perfectly, named not by chance after the well-known magazine for women only. It winks at the female audience that pays attention to aesthetics but also to content, which this phone has no shortage of, starting with an excellent camera with 1.3 MP, a wide display and an excellent mp3 player. Quick and intuitive access functions and a slide opening (drawer-type).
Design and features.
It belongs to the glam phone category, and this means refined color choices, with four colors currently available (gold, pink, violet and silver). Elegant lines and solid construction certainly make it stand out even to a more demanding audience. The antenna is built-in and the keypad is comfortable, not requiring excessive effort thanks to its ergonomics; it belongs to the generation of tri-band GPRS phones, comes with a mini-USB (v2.0) travel charger cable that also works as a PC connection, a backlit TFT display (anti-glare) with 256,000 colors for a resolution of 176x220 pixels, has 12MB of internal memory that can nevertheless be expanded via micro SD (Trans Flash), has a built-in 1.3 Mpx camera that allows photos to be taken at 1280x1024 pixel resolution and also allows video recording, bluetooth and a built-in modem. It is powered by a 700mAh lithium-ion battery (300 hours of battery life in standby mode). It weighs 99 gr. and keeps compact dimensions (95x50x17mm).
Main features.
Phonebook, vibrate call, voice memo, built-in speakerphone and predictive text input (T1), it allows sending sms, mms and ems, and also has a handy option (Antenna OFF Mode) to activate when on a plane, which allows incoming and outgoing call functions to be excluded by deactivating the antenna's radio waves while leaving all other functions usable. It allows data transfer from phone to PC.
Entertainment and multimedia.
Animated screensavers, wallpapers and the ability to add images downloaded from the network, polyphonic ringtones that can also be downloaded, the ability to change the display's colored themes, games, JAVA MIDP 2.0 technology, a fun and very manageable mp3 player.
