Design notes: The body of the HP 1910 is entirely made of aluminum with a thin plastic trim around it. The battery cover is an exception, being made of plastic material. On the left side there is a loop for a lanyard, the infrared port, the record button and the soft reset button. On the right side, in the upper part, there is the stylus, and just below it, the battery cover release button. In the upper part, besides the stylus, we find, centrally, the SD/MMC slot, the microphone and the headphone jack. Above the slot is the power button/status LED. In the lower part is located the input for the proprietary plug, the connector being the same as the iPAQ 3800 and 3900 series.

Feature notes: The SD/MMC slot can only accommodate memory cards. Not being equipped with I/O (Input/Output) functions, it is not able to use Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, digital camera, GPS, etc. cards. The infrared port constitutes the only system for connecting to the internet by taking advantage of a common GSM/GPRS cell phone.
