IT-70, with Windows CE Power operating system and integrable barcode scanner, thanks to an open software architecture, the Windows CE 3.0 operating system and a 150 MHz MIPS microprocessor, this terminal represents the high-performance base platform for advanced data collection systems. Users have 32 MB of RAM and 16 MB of Flash ROM available. Data can be stored, according to needs, in the device's non-volatile memory, which allows a complete system backup even if the battery runs completely flat.

The English version of the installed Windows CE 3.0 operating system includes programs such as Internet Explorer, Pocket Word and Pocket Excel bundled in the package. In addition to the integrated keyboard, handwriting recognition functionality is also available.
