It can also connect to the Internet via Bluetooth on any Blackberry phone an it uses your EXHISTING BB DATA PLAN. It syncs with your BB via Bluetooth and can access anything on your BB. This will be available thru many retailers, not just the cell ercairrs.You will not have to have a BB to use it on WIFI, but you will have to have a BB to access the Internet if WIFI is not available. It will not connect with iPhone or Android phones.Due out in Q1 of 2011
